SURVEYS

Most employers with 20 or more employees could benefit from an employee survey. These surveys are a list of questions either generic in nature or designed by the employer to discover the specific information regarding the benefits provided. The survey can include all benefits, not just health insurance.

The employees complete the survey anonymously and return them to Myriad Benefits & Alternatives for evaluation. A study is conducted and a report is returned to the employer.

Insight about which benefits are valued is gained from the information provided. The periodic use of such surveys will allow the employer to provide only those benefits that are most appreciated. They are provided without charge to our clients.

EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION & EDUCATION

Many employers find it advantageous to meet with the consultant/agent on a regular basis. These meetings provide an opportunity to evaluate the carrier's performance, address problems and issues of the employees and their covered dependents, and to plan for the future.

A quarterly meeting provides an excellent opportunity to evaluate how each benefit is working and how it is perceived by the employees and their covered dependents.

Larger employers who receive claims reports can review them and determine which benefits are being utilized and which ones are not. Buy-Down groups can evaluate the effectiveness of the plan and make adjustments if necessary.

These meetings can be informal or formal with a specific agenda.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

No matter how carefully things are done, there can sometimes be problems with claims issues, enrollment problems, billing errors and questions that need to be dealt with quickly and to everyone's satisfaction.

We are aggressive in problem resolution. In addition to the carrier, we provide a complete customer service department. We encourage our clients, their employees and their dependents to call us first. All calls are logged into our system with a timing alarm. Because we have probably solved similar problems we know who contact, one call to us is usually all that is necessary.

Myriad Benefits & Alternatives offers a web page for each client of 20 or more employees. It is very user-friendly, and has information for employees and their dependents. They can review their benefits, carrier, preferred providers and hospitals. It is a free service provided my Myriad Benefits.
