Shasta was born in Weiser; she attended the Payette Christian Academy for 12 years and graduated with honors. She then attended Treasure Valley Community College and worked for Interpath Laboratories. Shasta gained her knowledge of insurance while studying at T.V.C.C. and working full time. Upon completion she transferred to Boise State University. She found employment with a call center serving 13 national corporations as a third party claims administrator. She processed annual enrollments for employee benefits, took part in case management for all clients and plan administrators. She has also worked as an Administrative Assistant for Amica Mutual Insurance.

Shasta works as the lead claims administrator for Myriad Benefits, working exclusively with those clients that have taken advantage of our "Buy-Down" approach. She helped develop the new claims administration program that guarantees compliance with the privacy rules. It is her job to make certain that all claims are accounted for and are paid correctly.She also manages COBRA Connection of Idaho. She administers COBRA for numerous clients and their participants.
